After the vegetable tanning process is complete, the leather is heat filled and the oils and tallow penetrate the leather, making it smooth and rich. Thanks to these oils and waxes, bridle leather is weather-resistant. After the tanning process is complete, the leather is roller-dyed to achieve an even coloration. This leather is very attractive when used in men's accessories. However, since tanning bridle leather can take months from scraping to polishing, only a few tanners, even in the UK, have the skills and time to make genuine bridle leather.
